Who We Are

The Steamship Sicamous plied the waters of Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada from 1914 to 1936. She is a Canadian Pacific Railway ship built to move passengers and freight between Penticton and Okanagan Landing, and all the points in between. After her de-commission and several years of retirement at the shipyards where she was built, she was berthed on the shore of Okanagan Lake in Penticton. Since then, she has been slowly returned to a semblance of her former glory by dedicated and hard working volunteers. She is now open as a Heritage Museum as part of an Inland Marine Heritage Park in Penticton, BC honouring the tugs and ships that helped develop settlement of the Okanagan Valley.
